Conclusion: there's a huge chunk of this community that can't tell the difference between good and bad performance. I'm gonna hop on later and let you know my thoughts.
for me it works well and worked well before fps numbers are slightly disappointing a little worse than ACC for my system.
i have a amd rx6800 i5-13600kf 32gb ddr4 4000mhz
i tried 1440p 3200x1800 and 4k with temporal and fidelity fx up scaling also native
sadly my pc performance doesnt change much going down to 1440p from 3200x1800 so not hitting 144 fps or close to it really maybe 120 for a few seconds lol but mostly around 100fps i think it was going between 8-9 ms for 1440p
10-12 ms for 3200x1800 even 4k was still holding over 60fps 13-15ms although i would not play like that without FSR or something.
anyways idk i usually am only playing games around 100fps because i like it to look good and usually play at 4k if i can 3200x1800 actually looks great though way better than 1440p so thats what im using
4k is just a little to much although i could turn some settings off ultra other then shadows(high) mirrors(medium) and car reflections(medium) as well.
im also using temporal up scaling at qaulity- FSR gave more fps by maybe 10 but has a odd over sharpened look to it
dynamic resolution off anything else dynamic off lol
anyways idk i do wonder because it seems to work good for me although i would say my 1440p performance is really terrible 100-120fps compared to ACC well my 4k performance in ACC is probably pretty close around 100 fps 1440p is more like 150 fps
anyways im sure i can fine tune WRC settings much more as well but yea it seems like the jury is still out for some people working good on AMD GPU with intel cpu for me though although slightly lower than preferred FPS it seems smooth/good/frame timing matchs on my graph
RTX 3070
Ryzen 5 5600x
16GB DDR4 RAM
Playing at 1080p with DLSS on, the framerate goes below 60fps in most of the stages.
Yeah, I play on ultra, yet the game looks like it was released on 2015. The optimization is abysmal.
try using temporal and not DLSS or even FSR all options that are there should work but the best quality is off lol
make sure the dynamic resolution is turned off...this means its changing your resolution lower i think? either way i keep it off haha.
I'm running a 2080 on an i5-1200f. I get 120 frames consistently. I have close to 200 hrs in WRC and haven't had any issues other than the occasional hiccup that doesn't affect me whatsoever.
RTX 3080 @ 5120x1440
Intel 11700K
32GB DDR4 3200mhz
Game installed on M.2 SSD
With DLSS (balanced mode), reflections and PPQ on low + disabled V-Sync im getting around 80-100 FPS in the most cases but it depends a lot on the stage.
The most funny is when I use replay, it's 100*% smooth.
Need the next patch.
