Edit: They didn't give it so I have to live with the purchase now for sure. I'll keep DR2 installed until they fix more issues.
I suggest buying it RIGHT NOW while it's 60% off!!!
I'm in the same boat. Have a fantastic dd1 and never had an issue with the throttle. The game has worked perfectly for me since launch and I'm just under 300hrs.
That is the reason why stage and car ports to next generations release was so easy.
This EA WRC title is the first game on a new engine.
Further Ports of the game will show if it can contest or not.
With the new engine all need to developed from scretch on.
That you can see in the actual state of development.
In other words, dont compare 10 year of development on a same game title with a complete new one.
Also i CANT sign the topic with no stutters on KT Racing WRC titles. Morefurther there be stutters on every title on the same map with different nvidia cards. Following up some discussions let it seem like AMD users are not affected on.
Also some stages are very stupid developed and let the car glitch into ground and so on.
In overall KT Racing WRC Game is also STILL in a very bad condition.
However, i dont want to start any kind of rand against KT Racing WRC. They was also good games who gave me a lot of time with fun.
Unreal 4 have a highly compatiblity to Unreal 5. So content that will be created right now can later port to the next higher engine.
In my opinion the step of Codemasters to UE4 is the right one with best future potential.
BUT, EA pressured to much about the release date AGAIN and we received AGAIN a half finished product.
So i totaly understand if people dislike the game right now. But we should patient and see what the future shows us.
We just shouldn't apply double standards.
Why would you think signs and trees and rocks wouldn't destroy your car and not the other way around?
Well you hit a stop sign pole and the car comes to a complete stop like you just hit a stopped semi truck lol it should do some damage it shouldn't do that
Well its true that you shouldnt come to a full stop. But does it really matter? Your run is over no matter what. Same with some bushes and trees, you shouldnt come to a full stop there too, but also the more realistic alternative would end your run. And the third alternative, them being like ghosts would be much worse in my opinion.
It would be nice if the sign gets damaged and knocked to the side, as you're driving over it, spinning in the end and so on. But your run will be over either way, so i personally dont care.
Avoid signs, trees and bushes and learn which bushes you can pass through. But that is just my personal opinion.
There are "4 left" curves you can go through full throttle and there are other ones you just cant. Its all about learning and adapting. If you want to be competitive youll need to learn and master the stage without failures. Doenst even matter if youre racing online or against AI. Well at least if they get the AI fixed.^^
My biggest problem is that setups get corrupted. This is really an issue in my opinion. A big one and needs to get sorted out fast.
And Clubs are nice, but the clubs menues are crap. I cant even see which ones i already finished.
