Cars don't get dirty?

Did anyone notice that the cars are not getting dirty at all or very little after a muddy wet rally or a dry rally? Someone on YouTube pointed out at my video and I realised that on a wet track my car didn't get dirty at all. Is there a config file settings for UE4 that can increase the intensity of it or is it just a bug?

Not everything is a bug. I suspect they just couldn't be arsed.

They do indeed get very VERY dirty. Seems strange.

Except they could because my cars all get very dirty during rallies.

I would say it's a bug. In photo mode, there is a slider to adjust mud intensity on the car from nasty back to clean. I'd say they forgot to adjust their own slider as the race progresses.

OK I was just assuming the OP was correct as I haven't played a wet rally yet.

I am not sure .....Since I am running Random Weather & Random Time on every run at different stages, I have seen different combinations.

Usually I can see dirt on car with Cloudy / Rain weather & Gravel / Dirt surface in both gameplay and replay.

OP, what car are you driving? So that we can have a comparison.

Ive thought this also,but it seems the amount of dirt depends on stage length and not just weather. Though they should be more dirty imo

I've just remembered when I arrive at the finish line with no hood and no bumpers I actually do remembers some dirt as it was holding the car together...

if i do quick rally or championship they get dusty/dirty. time trial they don't. or if it does i cant notice it.

Look at this clip. I don't see any visual dirt. At least it doesn't seem very visible. Did I disable any setting accidentally?

I've been doing time trial a lot. Not sure if that is where the problem is?

All of you who's cars get very dirty, are you on PC or console? I'm on PC by the way. It seems to be any car that I've tried. I usually play time trial but also play quick rally. Don't have the same issue in Dakar Desert Rally as the vehicles get very dirty as the stage progresses. Maybe I disabled some setting accidentally or is it any config file setting that I might have changed that could cause it? I've added a couple of lines to the Engine.ini file to improve stuttering etc.
