How to get rid of ugly unrealistic glare on the windshield
How to get rid of ugly unrealistic glare on the windshield when driving with a view that is as close as possible to the windshield but still in the cab. If you switch to the view from the head or from the cabin with a view of the dashboard, then there don't seem to be such bad reflections in the windshield, but if you choose the view in front of the hood even closer, the reflections are sometimes just terrible and annoying, and there are no options in the settings to disable reflections from the windshield - please give the developers this opportunity.

An option to disable it is needed indeed. For now, you can turn up the car reflection graphics option. I think at low and ultra low you get bad windshield glare.

Go to installed drive, appdata/local/wrc/saved/config/windowsnoeditor

Find engine.ini, and paste this into the end of the file.

[SystemSettings]
r.DefaultFeature.Bloom=0
r.BloomQuality=0
r.ViewDistanceScale=2
r.Shadow.DistanceScale=1
r.Color.Mid=0.45
r.TonemapperGamma=2.3
r.EyeAdaptation.LensAttenuation=0.40

I don't think that will change the glare on the windscreen.

If it's the same what happens to me... If you use ultralow reflections, you get more FPS but appears artifacts on the screen... For the moment you can solve doing this:
When you in the start line ready to go with ultralow, go to menu and change to low or medium, back to start line, and back again to change in ultralow, and disappear the artifacts...

Put vehicle reflections on low or higher. Not ultra low.

Its so annoying when u need to do that before every stage. Ultra low car reflection versus low car reflection I got 40fps difference.

Its weird, i put on Low car reflection and got less gpu usage, when I put to Ultra low I got waay better gpu usage and better fps.

Makes me wonder if ultra makes the GPU calculate it, while Low makes the CPU handle it.

Will this fix weird glare on ultra low car reflection?
