Yea, you wont see HDR in video unless you have an HDR screen, The picture that shows in that thumb will have a glow because it is blown out, because windows does not take proper hdr screen shots native. That is the middle of africa, on a day such as in the video things will be pretty dang bright. Watch the video on your iphone/android...it will allow you to see the HDR and yes its bright but also very color rich and not dim and under saturated.
One thing with HDR once you have it set proper system wide you dont need to keep fiddling with stuff when the game has correct HDR, you set your nits and everything is good to go. There no eyeball test and do this with gamma or saturate until it looks right, i loaded my reshade graph that shows me the nits real time and will tell you if the HDR is wrong, even tho the settings are wonky to get there the hdr shows 800 max nits and a pure 0 black floor which is correct for lgc1 oled so theres no clipping. SDR in the video may be brighter than your used to as SDR but that is just youtube converting down from HDR as thats the native format of the vid.
Okay lol, my vid card has nothing to do with it being able to run the game fine if you actually read all the threads of 4090 users complaining. Again, is it perfect no, is it an un optimized buggy mess, certainly not.
