What software gets installed besides the game?

It's been well over a decade since last purchasing an EA title, and so I'm wondering what sort of software EA will force me to install besides the game itself. Can anyone enlighten me?

At bare minimum it uses "Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper
" which is listed on the store page.

I already have other EA games on my PC, so that software is already on my machine. I assume you need this too, even though it is not listed. I could be wrong, but I have to log into my account when the game launches, so I assume this leverages my EA software. It could just be because of how my steam is linked with EA.

I do think this is a coincidence. It still does not work for me. But others have complained about the same issue.

So my test is not valid right now. I do know the game logged into my EA account without me prompting it. But it may not require the EA app to work.

Sadly, it is well past my bedtime and I need to retire. Sorry for any confusion.

its obv cos theyve changed something with s2, s3 etc content. just remove and continue; its S1 right now so non issue

Just did this and my save works and I have everything I had before. Obviously, since S2 onwards is far away and they probably just made adjustments which gave us that notification
