is there a way of disabling the ghost in time trials?

the problem is having to disable the ghost every single time i pick a friends time to beat from the main menu. i need to start, go into options and disable it. every single time.

Yeah my bad.. i went and tested it after typing that and it did indeed turn itself back on. Turning off ghost sharing doesn’t work either!

yeah. its a bit frustrating.

You have to do it in the event settings, and in the Time Trial pause menu there is a Ghost Settings selection so you can change on the fly.

thats the problem. you have to start the run first, then pause, then disable it. every single time you want to beat a friends run. id like to remove ghosts forever. like in dirt rally 2.

ghost cars just confuses me. I would prefer a permanent disabling too.
And most annoying to me is, that i always forget on a new stage to deactivate it.
I drive the first half stage faster then the ghost or so, so i dont notice it.
Probably it is a very decent run. Then Ghost overtake me and i get confused very much and loses focus. Which finaly ruins the run.
And as longer the focus befor was as more annoying it is.
And im not a Ghostbuster who want to hunt ghosts. :/

So you can't disable ghost in TT like in DR2.0? I didn't know about that. The ghost doesn't bother me much, but sometimes I turn it off in DR2.0 so I can focus on the run.
I hope they eventually implement an option to turn it off without too much trouble.
