That's if you have Steam controller inputs enabled. It translates Xbox controls for DualSense controller. Still, there's no native support yet in the game, when they've had DualSense support for F1 23 since day 1 with fully working adaptive triggers.
I hope they'll fully support it, don't see why they wouldn't. The haptics and adaptive triggers would give us lots of valuable information, somewhat similar to a racing wheel.
/For now, I'm getting the best experience via DS4Windows. Seems more responsive than Steaminput.
Disable Steam Input on game properties.
Your Library>Select WRC>Right side cog/gear> Properties> Controller> Select Dislable Steam input on the drop down menu.
With Steam Input on, the game will use the Xbox button prompts with regular vibration, but no adaptive triggers.
With Steam Input off, the game will use the DualSense button prompts but no adaptive triggers and audio-based haptic feedback (regardless of connectivity method). As Beethy said, the vibration tab in the control setting is blanked when use without Steam Input.
kind of cheap after having them working in the f1 games
Is it really that big of a deal to add basic rumble for the dualsense? The controller shows up in the devices in-game but the vibration tab is completely blank.
I have steaminput turned off for all games, I shouldn't have to add it, just to get rumble and the wrong button icons.
I use a DualSense controller and so far there is no rumble/vibration, nor adaptive trigger features for EA WRC.
FYI. WRC Generations on Steam does support the haptic feedback and adaptive triggers function of the DualSense controller.
