the car interiors seem lack luster
more importantly, the stages seem bland and uninspiring. i just don't think anything will ever compete with KT's stages.
lastly, i see myself playing this a couple of time and if i don't refund it then i'll just play it here and there and return back to RBR and WRC Generations.
i absolutely hate that the WRC discord is calling for the most casual rally game that they could get.
Not to mention the gameplay/ physics don't look as good as I hoped. But I a bad at judging these things from watching others playing.
I personally hope it's more like dr, you hope it's more like previous wrc games.
I really hope Unreal wont cause any issues with stuttering and such though...
Bad feeling about this wrc project.
I dont trust EA
DiRT Rally 2.0, the biggest title on the Dirt series in consistency, never breached 4k concurrent players. DiRT 4 on release, never breached 5k concurrent players and dove way bellow the average of DiRT Rally 2.0.

DiRT 5, the 'prettiest' of all. Yes it had the most advanced graphics. Never breached 2k concurrent players. If you disregard brief period of being above 1k concurrent players, it never really went past it besides a single moment.

Game looks good. Salty WRC gen players are still in shock to being bent over by their favorite developers who not only screwed their fans but robbed them too. Gen was a cash grab buggy mess that was more a "F you!" to fans than a love letter lol Rather than accepting it, they instead defend it. Classic stockholms syndrome.
The problem with that Discord is that they are all huge fanboys, and they attack anyone that says something they perceive as negative about their beloved games. One of the moderators there is one of the biggest offenders in that regard. Because of this, you can't discuss the glaring shortcomings of the game, and talk about ways to improve the it. This is why this new game will be largely a copy of DR2's gameplay, with no meaningful improvements.
It's so strange that people in that Discord say they want the rally games to be more of a sim, but then attack people that point out ways that would make DR2 more of a rally sim.
PJ is an exception over there, he is very cool, and doesn't get offended if you point out the shortcomings of DR2.
There was some frame drops in the recent gameplay video, so there are some concerns about how this game will run.
I know that what I've just said enters the realm of profanity and forbidden in the simracing community, but it's the bitter truth.
With that said, just check other places on the internet besides toxic discord communities, and you'll find mixed opinions about this WRC game that codemasters is making after the last shown gameplay video. A lot of people really liked, and some people not so much. But if you look at the numbers, just take for instance the like/dislike ratio of this video on youtube and you'll see that for a game published by EA, people are really liking what have been showed.
We have 4 weeks of waiting time until the game releases. We need a new rally game and this might be a good game to fill the spot in the already very niche rally game's market. And I hope it is as good as it seems, at least for some of us. So enjoy the fact that we have a new rally game title to play, because there aren't many options available and never will.
