I'd imagine changing graphics settings isn't going to help because it's a processing issue.

I was going through a stage and hit a rock on the side of the road then fell through the map.
(magic rock)
but i have not seen any tracks disappear through 100 hrs of gameplay
Theres a Japan map that after 1.3 feels like its about to die (Habu or something)
and the 2 monte carlo maps are still crashing if this happens reduce graphic setting for ground cover
This could be your hitting VRAM limits of your GPU
or a very old SSD that isnt keeping up or is about to do its last reads or writes
(you may want to test via crystal mark to check)
Do you know which stage it is?
The engine is just not loading the geometry fast enough from the storage and by the lack of code preventing the player falling under the ground if that happens.
I never had this issue on this game playing on a i5 10400, 40gb RAM + SSD.
