I personally cant really see any benefit as to why a split screen would be included .

As this is A->B racing done alone ( plus co driver)
There are no other competitors on stage with you and the only thing you will be up against is the clock .
The only place where it could be useful would be Rally cross . This however appears to be absent from the very limited information dripped out by EA so far ( And judging by the approximate game size of 80Gb)

So I honestly doubt It will be there .

As someone that only plays dirt rally 2.0 in vr with a wheel and shifter and handbrake...

I still think split screen would be cool. But only if it took 0% of their resources to add, which is impossible.

I think all of their resources should be focused on the Sim aspect.

We can still play dirt 3 on PC with split screen, or use rpcs3 to play the earlier dirt games in split screen. Or v rally also had split screen on PC.

I love split screen, but I don't really see a reason to have it here.

• WRC 6
• WRC 7
• WRC 8
• WRC 9
• WRC10
• WRC Generations
All have 2-player split screen.

Thought I was on another planet, there, for a second.

As you say, though, there are many other titles to turn to for splitscreen, I suppose.

Oh wow, I had no idea. I still prefer them to work on the Sim aspects first and foremost as that is what dirt rally 1 and 2 were for me. But it would be pretty cool to get split screen dirt rally, I am genuinely surprised the wrc games had split screen, especially on PC.

I do split screen ocassionally on wrc generation.
Nice when you can play with other, even though this is point a to point b game
