Puppet/Character Level Bug encountered

Latest version of the game with DLC- It appears if you turn a character into a puppet (done with Puppet Strings items in my cases) then cure them with String Cutter item they go back to their default class with a level above 10 (All characters I tried this with were at max level in their base class beforehand).
(Samona is in the team and has her puppet boosting talents so while transformed into them characters are at level 13, presumably that part is working as intended)

Mostly its 13 but a few have been 11 or 12, didn't work for Samona but since she might be the cause was expecting that to be the case.
*Just got new dlc character Wind to level 10 in her base class and for some reason when trying it with her she remained at level 10 also.

Samona was a Maid at the time of all this, dunno if that is having any effect.

They have increased HP/Max Lust and this bug seems to be entirely beneficial with no other obvious glitches so far, still on the off chance anything was to change in the future with the games development am slightly worried about it causing problems somehow.

EDIT: Had to reapply it after Nuan got a dose of unaware up her, using party member's doll status applying/curing power confirmed to work equally well.

Something obvious sprung to mind, tried transformations on the characters after they had been level boosted.

Turned Jyla into a Bimbo, when cured her level reverted to 10.
Turned Liliana into a Statue then Golem, when cured level had also reverted to 10.

Luckily nothing negative seems to happen beyond characters being reverted to their 'proper/natural maximum' level.

you need to buy the proper items to change everyone back. For stoning, the Gorgon Braid item is required to turn her back. If you fail the battle at the Maid Estate, the disguise is permanent after acquiring the chest at Jyla's mansion at Sea Market
