Sandbox mode or visual novel?

Ok, whats the canon way to go through this game? Story or sandbox?

Play Sandbox and you will get to decide who to talk to, whether you go to work, practice or just do your own thing. Novel means you will be through the game in no time. I have played both and prefer Sandbox.

Sandbox, if you don't like the games, you can skip time.

I prefer visual novel as it flows way better. However you will miss out on some things if you don't play sandbox. So you kind of have to play sandbox.

First of all play the visual novel and after that play sandbox...(in a visual novel's mode, you'll have trophies easily than sandbox)....or if you preffer the story, so play the visual novel only.

if you play story mode can you still hook up with all the girls and get all the scenes or are some only unlocked during sandbox?

I just finished it on sandbox.. I found it more interactive.. Made me feel a little more a part of hogwarts 2.0 .. But it is a great game ,, i just finished it and all achievements'

i cant wait for season 2

So you can't skip unwanted content in Visual novel mode? For example if there is a character I don't like. I still have to talk/go on date/♥♥♥♥ them in VN?

In story my experience so far is yes you have to talk to everyone in the order that makes the most sense for the story, however if you don't want to date someone you can just choose the wrong dialogue options and if you don't like a dialogue option after you try it you can backtrack to a limited degree. So no you dont have to go on a date or ♥♥♥♥ them in VN if you purposely choose the options that will make them reject you. but thats my experience so far I havent tested this but it seems like it would work that way.
