Character Creator Demo not working

Don't have the base game, but I saw all the articles about how the creators released the character creation menu as it's own sort of Demo. I haven't seen anyone else mentioning this issue, but it just doesn't seem to work well for me? I don't seem to be able to upload pictures, but basically, everything works fine with the game, until I get to the actual character creation section. There's this weird, bright yellow glow that keeps me from actually seeing anything on screen aside from the controls and options. I can only barely make out the silhouettes of the characters on screen. The only time I seem to be able to see them clearly to a degree is when I go to the facial options and zoom in closely.
I've messed around with the graphics settings a bit, like putting the graphics on low and toggling off some shadow options, but no change so far.

I dont have the game but i wanted try this "demo" and it's dont work too for me. Well work until the "Push a button" ... there is a confirm's sound in loop (at each try) but nothing happen :c

Hi!
Had the same issue, what fixed it: after you choose lineage and go to the part, where you create character, in the bottom right corner you can change background. I chose dark one, right or second from the right, and character appeared. Hope it will work for you!

OH it worked! I had never even noticed that part before, my bad lol. No clue what's up with that first background, but cool. Thank you for the help!

Sorry to reply again, but I'm assuming it went back to impossible to see once you continued on?

Oh look like they fixed the bug, i did only one clic and menu screen was gone. Before i couldnt pass this one ^^"
