Fullscreen broken now?
I'm 60 hours in, all on ultra 1140p setting, When I logged in today I got like 5 FPS, I first thought my graphic card broke, but I changed to windows fullscreen and It all went back to smooth, so what happen with fullscreen, It just died after 60 hours gameplay?

Nope, had to play in window fullscreen instead and the graphic are alittle bit blurry that way.
Same issue here.

Framerate is fine in Borderless fullscreen mode but every now and again the game will boot up in fullscreen mode where it runs at 3-5 fps until I switch it back to Borderless Fullscreen.

I'm on Windows 11 24H2.

Odd bug and one that isn't widely reported but it is something that does not happen with any other DX12 game I'm playing, including other Frostbite games from EA such as FC 25.

I dont know if anyone still even cares, but the root cause of this issue for me was having HDR enabled in game, but disabled on Windows 11. Just turn off HDR ingame and it will properly run again in fullscreen.

i care but i want HDR so what now?
Been having the same issue since December. I’ve DDU’d probably over 10 times until I found a solution to exclusively full screen bug. The game ran butter smooth on windowed borderless and once I switched to exclusive full screen, the game was super choppy at 5fps on an RTX 4090.

Solution : I disabled vsync, triple buffer, hdr, and steam overlay. Also limited fps to 120 and activated low latency in Nvidia cp for this game (not global). I’m not sure what solved it but now it’s running smooth on exclusive full screen with fps between 120-160 if I deactivate fps limiter but found best results keeping limiter on 120fps. There are occasional stutters which are probably shaders. Playing with all settings on ultra, 4k DLAA. Hope this helps someone.
