game suddenly lagging after patch 3 ( EDIT !!! )

i haven't had many issues with veilguard till this latest patch release. now it lags to an unplayable degree. i've tried varied suggestions of verifying game files, ensuring drivers were up to date, the works and STILL the game lags. bioware i'm begging you it's been running fine for the last 150 hours what did you do

EDIT: so i messed around with the screen settings and that cleared up all my lags! not sure why but that was the solution.

Same here. Since the patch 3 update I have graphic issues in the game.
Never happened before. So annoying.

Can you specify what settings you changed? I have been trying to do any and all settings but its a horrible stutter and laggy mess :(

i simply changed the screen from fullscreen to windowed borderless! and for whatever reason that resolved my lag. all other settings were left unchanged.
