can anyone else no longer open large chests?

I accidentally stumbled upon a level 50 fight in the crossroads while I was at like level 20, no way I could kill it then so I left it alone. Came back and tried a few times, was finally able to kill it just now. Chest unopenable. Bummer, that was a rough fight.

Figured it was a one off glitch related to me unlocking it too early or something and moved on.

But now none of the large chests are openable for me. I've come across several others I can not interact with in any way.

Anyone else experiencing this? Is my game bricked? I have no idea how close I am to the end but if I had to guess I'd say I was about halfway through. Really don't want to go til the end without loot. Also really don't want to start over..

I am also experiencing this bug. EA.support is aware of this bug but it feels like they are ignoring it as they have gone silent about the issue for over a week now.

Yes. I was able to exactly one time and never again. I also can't interact with the health up statues or shrines, meaning I can't do some quests I really wanted to. EA support have said on other forums they are aware of the issue. but seemingly haven't fixed it in today's patch :'(
