Fire whoever did the armor in this game... BAREFOOT?!?!?!
Why does every set I find just run around barefoot, and no boot equip slot... this is so stupid.

Also, playing on nightmare (the hardest setting) is so easy it's a joke.

Apart from these issues game is kinda fun.

Apparently, you find Veil Jumpers armor. This is elven armor. It is found in Arlathan Forest. In other locations, you will find armor from other factions. Note the armor of Solas, he also walks almost barefoot.

.

Looking at the devs, the barefoot thing doesnt surprise me one bit.

I guess it must be okay walking over corrupted land covered in blight and the occasional demon blood barefoot. i mean makes sense, nothing to worry there.

Feet are gold in this game. Arguably the best thing it has to offer.

Some people like to look at bare feet. I mean I don't, but some people do. : )
Barefoot elvish armors are sadly a thing since Dragon Age 2.
But yes, I hate it too since Dragon age 2.
Being barefoot is actually better for your feet, shoes are designed way too rounded and pointy. As someone who is always barefoot i appreciate the barefoot armors

They fired them all it’s all good
Some armor does have boots. I was a bit irked initially my gigantic Qunari was running around without footwear until I found a nice set in the wardrobe to hide the pigs.

ummm, never really looked at those; guess I should have, since the bare feet REALLY looks stupid
The Elves have famously gone barefoot with their armor and clothing for a while now. Find armor in other towns and you'll have shoes on. I'm currently wearing something from Treviso and it has a nice shoe style with the whole outfit.

Yes and No. The toebox is too small in normal shoes, so getting ones with a bigger toebox is good.

However, going barefoot on concrete and wood and other surfaces with no give is not good for your feet at all.

If you are barefoot on dirt and other natural surfaces that have some give (not rocks), it is different, but man-made surfaces are not good to be barefoot on and will cause issues over time.

As for OP, the barefoot armors are Veil Jumper armors, other factions armor is not barefoot.
