Report a translation problem
You can try saving your game, then exit the game and relaunch. I've seen people report that they recovered from strange bugs that way.
I have seen this kind of thing on a few objects in the game, where it doesn't immediately show you the action key tip on screen when you approach the object (or character). You can try looking at it from a different angle by running away and approaching it from a different direction.
I think I may have seen one or two objects that did not pop-up the action key tip at all, but I could still press the action key anyway and it worked. That crystal may have been one of them (it somehow feels vaguely familiar now that I think about it).
I can't remember much about that puzzle, but also just check that there are no other requirements to "unlock" that object if you haven't already.
