In every recent presentation of the game the MC is a really attractive female.. It's honestly hilarious. I didn't expect anything less from a "Queerosexual Gendermancer" This game is going to flop so hard.

I love dragon age and played Origins, 2 and inquisition multiple times but this isn't it man it just looks so bad.

The uglyfication of companions began in 2014, with Sera as an example, but all the characters have been butchered.

I saw the late game combat presentation, and although I didn't, I felt like damm, because it seemed so dull and sad. And what they've done to qunari is unforgivable, it was never my favorite race but damn are they ugly. 100% the character designer wanted something that look her furry cow fantasy, and that's disgusting.

Completely agreed. I don't get how high standards these people have, but I also think most of the companions look pretty and the rest is at least interesting and I know other people who find them pretty.

It is genuinely baffling to me that there are people that consider the companions ugly. It doesn't even come across as a little silly, it just comes across as weird. What makes them ugly specifically? There's no proper answer to this.

No. Bigger companies dont allow much modding(if they had their way there would be no modding at all), not to mention how hard it is to find workarounds for modding Frostbite. Inquisition modders worked really hard over the years to get over the obstacles EA put but still they were forced to give up.

I think a lot of the regurgitated opinions for this game fall flat when you ask someone to explain how. I had someone I know irl tell me this looks like a mobile game and when I asked them to cite an example of one that looks like this we had the longest beat around the bush session. Not liking something cause it doesn’t appeal to you is fine, but getting mad that it appeals to other is just laughable. Seriously, just ask anyone why Davrin is ugly.

Not even for 'pretty models' so much as everyone's solution is modders fix for free kthx.

I don't think the problem is people "can't handle women with muscles". People loved Karlach in personality and opinion.

Then what is it? Because there’s not a single physical feature about Taash that makes her design bad. As for her personality we literally do not know as we’ve only heard her speak one line.

They most certainly have not given up lol, when was the last time you looked up DAI mods.

Nothing even remotely close to what the other poster is hoping for. There were people working on implementing their own tools to Inquisition to open the way for bigger mods like model replacers or even UI changes but they gave up pretty fast. There was a small resurgence around 2021 with lockdowns and people getting excited for a potential release in 2021-22 but that died down even faster.
