When is the sale?

Many steam games are 10% discount on release day. Will this game have a similar 10% discount on release like many other Steam games or will it be 50% clearance sale after two month like Mass Effect Andromeda? I can save $30 and 2 months would be right when the first major patch comes along to fix all the game breaking bugs that will be included in the day 1 premium DLC.

Then a couple more months, save another 30% on the season pass, the fast-travel DLC, and the extra inventory space DLC.

Day 1 purchase or wait 4 months and save like $50?

Wait it out. they know it's going to flop so they're going to try and get as much money as possible. They figure that the only people who are buying it will buy at full price, so % off for pre-orders won't make a difference.

ME Legendary was 90% off after just 3 years. ME Andromeda was 85% discount after just 1 year. I paid full price for Andromeda and this guy on reddit is bragging about buying it on sale for $10 after just 1 year.

It depends a bit on how the game is received, but a 50% off sale within a year of release is fairly common now. Without multiplayer it might take a bit longer to get a big sale though, since buoying server populations won't be an issue for them.
