We're getting mods!
I just saw there are three new mods up that aren't character presets, I hope people will keep it coming. I wish I knew how to mod because I'd spend some time doing it. Frosty is really hard to mod I hear. So I appreciate the modders who actually do make them.

Anywho, just wanted to mention it so you could go check them out. ;p

can you create your own campaigns. stories. characters. worlds?

(is there multiplayer?)

are you given the same tools the devs had when making the game?

if not, then this game has nothing over BG3 and as a game that has twice the budget of BG3 it should at least be better than it in some way

like what , i heard that there are no modding tools for frostbite engine and impossible to create script mods for frostbite games !

BG3 similar scenario. Nothing wrong with this way of handling mods. Modders are creative. Yet I can't name one RPG since NWN2 that let you create custom campaigns, content, and had multiplayer.

Woo that's new, DOS2 dev even explained they choose not develop much mod aspects.

Link?

But Blitz is clearly wrong, nobody care of NW2 Multiplayer, some thousands mean nothing.

And there's been games allowing mod new campaigns and content since NWN2.

hmm never knew that . i only remember downloading some good mods (like the guns mod) for Dos 2. and there was a multiplayer and the ability to create custom campaign and maps in game.

Then dev changed their aiming and I didn't noticed.

By Multiplayer you mean the DOS2 coop gameplay? In NWN2 it was true MP with persistent world option... If not then for NWN1.

Mods can't patch up the dull speech and shallow story/companions

I'm not here to compare the game to others, I'm just happy we're getting some mods. At the moment they are just the normal things like xp and factions boosts. But I hope more will come for those of us who do enjoy the game.

I own DoS 2 on GoG, so I don´t know where you find the modding tool on steam.

On GoG, navigate to extras in the galaxy client, there you can download the editor for both versions.

Just updating that there are even MORE mods available. I am so excited and grateful. I know modding on this frosty engine is a pain, so I appreciate all of you beautiful people who are managing to do it. <3

I just saw the mod to unlock skill tree yesterday, and so excited to go wild on it. I'm not familiar with modding myself, and saw a couple people mentioned about modding in DAV gonna be hard, glad we got gameplay mods already.

There are even some cosmetic ones now and dye colors for outfits. Thanks the maker for that. I don't really mind the clothing in the game, but the colors are so questionable. I wish they had let us change the dye colors like in DA:I.

I finally got to try out some of the mods and they are amazing. They even have one to remove that awful helm from Morrigan. I wonder if someone will be able to give Isabella her DA:2 outfit. I doubt it, but this is amazing.
