For instance, if you add damage or stagger to some weapons, in some cases the added damage will appear along with the DMG number above, some times it takes changing from one weapon to another in an exploration map for them to appear.
Other strange thing is, for example, you put +25% stagger in a weapon, but the game never disclaims if such a thing is for the whole character using even other weapons or only that single one.
I can attest to that by using a Maul in one hand with + stagger and that changes dramatically the STAGGER numbers of my shield which is not the same weapon at all.
The only way to properly know, I would say, is testing on the field against things that don't completely one shot you, which is quite hard for me playing on Nightmare.
Overall I'd say you should ignore most resistances and just avoid the damage and use either a rune that activates your potion extra effect for invulnerability in case you get BURNED, SHOCKED etc, or use a companion skill to get the same effect so you wont die.
I've used very high resistances for specific fights with AoEs hard to avoid and it simply made no difference in Nightmare. The best option is planing where to have the enemy aim, avoid, or use invulnerability to cut Affliction effects that WILL quickly kill you.
try checking on a different map.
oh damn, thanks for that tip I will check that.
If this is true it's a major issue because the lighthouse is WHERE you apply enchantments LOLOLOL. Not being able to accurately see what they would be out in the "real" game world is horrible. Hopefully this is a bug they will patch ASAP. I will check it and report back.
