Why there are no actual discussions...
Seems to me that hardly any topics actually discuss the game, and now I know why. Any topic that remotely touches on the story is deleted. Twice now my topics have been removed due to spoilers, even though I put *spoilers* in the title, and make every attempt to avoid them.

WTF is EA/Bioware doing? They'd rather we fight like animals over lgbtq ideology?

All publicity is good publicity, I reckon.

I've seen plenty of topics stay up and discussed so I'm not sure why that's happening.
Too many people rebasing the same opinions, and way more negative aspects of the game are more interesting to talk about.

There are, they just get buried because people would prefer to argue. I often try to focus my attention on discussions about the game and not the ones arguing about the sales. I have to go digging to find them too.

Steam forum moderators don't work for EA/Bioware. After all, there exists an official forum and this ain't it.

Maybe I should head over there. Not sure why I decided Steam would be a good place to talk. Back in the day, when Mass Effect 2 was launching and for some time after, I spent a lot of time on the old BioWare Social Network. Discussing lore and theories etc., Oh... I miss those discussions.

I was a frequent visitor to BSN back when playing ME3MP, heh, but BSN's long dead.

Looks like the CM (EA_Illium) is mostly active on the tech support threads.

Thanks for linkies. :)

Also, ME3 MP was so good. Couldn't tell you how many hours I sunk into that. Salarian engineer ftw

Why do you even want to discuss the story?

This game has no future, pretty much buried the IP with its release. No point in discussing a failure. The next people to make a game in DA universe would have to be insane to use any "lore" from this game and treat it as canon.

It's like someone mentioning Mass Effect series, but really wanting to discuss ME: Andromeda. It's worthless, fart in the wind.

Same reason someone might want to discuss not discussing something, I guess.

It's wild that they delete topics talking about the story, but then keep topics up from trolls that don't own the game trying to farm steam awards.

Just another reason why nobody uses the steam forums anymore.

I don't know what's worse. The steam forums being in the state that they're in, or people actually believing anything they say here has an impact on sales or how well a game does.

1. It's steam.
2. Consoles dominate the market, and most consoles users don't come here to discuss games they play on console.

If the steam forums actually mattered then we'd have proper moderation lmao.
