Little bit cautious about the release state though. EA have not excelled at that for a few years now.
DA Origins - GOAT
DA 2 - enjoyable (considering the lead time Bioware had - 2 years or so)
DA Inquisition - kept me engaged for 80 hours or so.
only the husk and EAs greed remains. its a hack n slash.
With the state of AAA games at release lately, I would wait to see how it goes first before buying.
Oh I didn't spot her, looks like I'll have to pay more attention next time. And yeah I think they're married by now! :)
Also, reading Tevinter Nights at the moment and the stories featuring the companions are excellent. Can't wait to actually meet them in-game.
Wait, will Veilguard be the last DA game? The big, big bad is going to be "truly" defeated?
I still dont get the whole Solas made the Veil, ancient Elves were weirdos thing, i need to re-read a bunch of old lore stuff, i forgot all of it.
The answer to this, as everything does with corporations involved, will depend on how well Veilguard sells. But as far as what the writers have teased online + the hints from the published books since Inquisition and the new story trailer, I believe we will at least get a lot of answers to the mystery surrounding the veil and the elven gods.
If you want to catch up, a loooot of lore videos on YouTube summerize it pretty well if you don't have the time to replay (lore university has a lengthy breakdown on YouTube that's an hour long, and then youtubers like kala elizabeth and jackdaw have more digestible, shorter videos on the subject)
It must really suck being this pathetic and jaded
Any actual DA fan recognized the preorder gear immediately. It's going to be difficult for those of us that do.
Don't worry, there are plenty of people trying to rain on the Dragon Age Preorder Parade lol, not mention the weirdos obsessed with their antiwoke agenda to the point of brain rot.
There are plenty of reasons to be wary, and I applaud the people with willpower, but some of us have waited 10 freaking years for this game and preordering was a no brainer. Get off our backs please 🥺 The best I can do is wait for more info to come out first, but 99% sure I'm preordering on PC and PS5. I'll play on PS5 until I get a new PC and the mod community has sorted out mods after a few months.
