What class and specialization?
Classes and specializations have been revealed awhile ago and with the game around the corner itll be fun to start building character concepts.
For those who havent seen:

MAGE (FIXED :D)
-Death Caller: uses necromancy magic.
-Spellblade: uses melee attacks infused with magic.
-Evoker: uses elemental fire, ice, and lightning magic

ROGUE
-Duelist: uses two blades for rapid strikes and has the fastest movement of the rogue specializations, focusing on dodges and parries.
-Saboteur: uses traps and tricks to turn the tide of battle.
-Veil Ranger: uses a solely ranged style of combat to hit enemies from afar with a bow.

WARRIOR
-Champion: uses weapon and shield, focusing on tactical defense and tanking hits from enemies.
-Reaper: uses night blades to steal health from foes, risking death to gain supernatural abilities.
-Slayer: uses two-handed weapons for simple but strong attacks that have increased damage.

just letting you know you wrote warrior twice when you meant mage.

now as for the answer probaly Reaper or Slayer as they sound like fun.

Damn, I wanted Blood Mage again.

I've always played as ranged Rogue first in each of the games, so I'll probably go for that.

But the necromage is extremely tempting.

Hmm, this will be a tough choice for me. I'll probably go mage or rogue. Sad that warriors still can't be dual-wielders still, but I might roll one just to do a shield throw.

As far as background, think I am leaning Warden again, but I might (if I am a mage) try necromancer background as well. We'll see. Need to see the detail of the story editor and character customization descriptions before I make a final decision.

I always play a mage. im not sure what background yet. maybe mournwatch or veilguard. i just am not sure. i also love the crows and plan to romance Lucanis so maybe a crow mage, or possibly a warden mage back to the origins roots which thats what i played as in that game.

Spellblade and Veil Ranger are both super tempting. Gonna have to be one of those!

My Warden in my current full series playthrough was a Warrior Archer (so broken, even before Awakening/Spirit Warrior) and Im probably gonna do Knight-Enchanter for my Inquisitor.

Love me a magical archer or sword wielding mage, haha.

I usually play two dagger rogue in my first playthrough, so I will probably play that here as well. But for second one I think Spellblade looks very interesting.

I always go mage in my first game and I'll go with the Evoker because it'll need some time to find my footing and see how the rest is!

First run I Usually do a Warrior Champion.

Then thinking of doing a Mage Spellblade.

Love me big swords, so will do another as a Warrior Slayer.

Don't usually play rogues, but I could try the Duelist or Veil Ranger.

gonna start with mage class first the rogue...the warrrior is for the last

Really hoping necromancer actually lets you raise the dead this time instead of just playing ghost animations...

Elven mage, evoker or death caller

Too early to say for certain, but I must admit that Lords of Fortune/Duelist is calling out to my inner pirate.

Great Warden Champion Warden

And Mourne Watch Necromancer Mage.

So, just as I assumed...still no support classes or healing magic. This irks me to no end because Dragon Age could be so gd amazing...but just have a whole party of DPS and use potions.
How in the hell is that fun to anyone? Dragon Age Origins is and will always (apparently) be the only DA game worth playing.
