now to be completely fair... there are tops in that exact same design as what is wrapped on her stomach, and she is not exactly very... "gifted" in that area. She could have totally did a spell to try and grow what she already had, but mess up and grew a second pair smaller pair on accident.

as for the actual reason for that odd piece of clothing that makes no sense even aesthetically... it is probably simply because she is a woman, and it is some form of "censorship" for some locations for international release. Kinda like how Japan hides cleavage or "deflate" some characters when they release games to the west now.

How old is Flemmeth and why did she get a upgrade in DA2 from DA Origins? Funny thing is, there actually is a article about why her appearance changed. ...why are you replying to me bro? I wasn't talking about any of this. DAO takes place in 9:31 Dragon, DA:I was in 9:42 Dragon and DA: Veilguard is 10 years later in 9:52, so yes, it has been 20 years.

But since you asked, Flemeth was born during the Towers Age so is several hundred years old. That quote also doesn't explain why they changed her look, but we know it's because they wanted to incorporate imagery associated with Mythal.

Francis just wanted a hot babe who is old. If you compare her look to her Dragon Age Origin's look her cheeks definitely doesn't sag as much in DA2. Her face was very saggy in Origins with sunken dark circle eyes. But DA2 made her more attractive just because the developer wanted it that way. How do you do a conversion of aging rate for her? Like would 100 years be like aging 10 years or what?

Some franchises have it so elves age regularly when they are young but once they reach a certain age they just age very very slowly. I'm just wondering if something like that applies to Flemeth? Does she get old first then basically ages slowly or is she already aging slowly and is just old. Flemeth isn't an elf but she isn't aging like everyone else as she's lived longer than most of the characters. Does Morrigan share that trait or not really?

It's entirely possible that Flemeth was already old when Mythal merged with her, so she already physically looked as she does when it happened. It's probably Mythal's powers that stop Flemeth from ageing any further.
Morrigan likely inherited part of her other's powers at the end of DAI, so maybe she doesn't age either? We don't know for sure.

Remember that Dragon Age 2 was a story told by an very unreliable narrator who likes exaggerate things for dramatic effect.

Remember how your sister's boobs were bigger when Varric was really getting carried away with his story? So funny. And Hawke's appearance as well in the intro.

So I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned it but that comparison image is very for lack of a better word unfair. The camera angle is looking up at her and she just drew herself up to full hight straightening her back out. This means everything in the upper portion of her body is going to look smaller. The lines of her body are very simplified as well. Less than a second later in the trailer she starts to take a step forward and leans forward with the step (this is very good animation as it's exactly how humans move to maintain our center of balance and not fall over when we walk). As soon as she makes this posture adjustment the simplified uper body in no longer distorted by the camera angle and one can notice that her breasts are in fact still on the larger side. Just want to call out how they're blatantly choosing they're comparison images to make the difference look more extreme. From what I can see after scrubbing the moment she appeared she's only changed her outfit not gotten a breast reduction.

He couldn't be a companion either way though, as Kieran is only born if the Hero of Ferelden had a relationship with Morrigan in DA: Origins, iirc.

I thought Kieran could also be born if Alistair was Morrigan's baby daddy?

She's not a companion. I'd imagine her involvement will be similar to what it was in Inquisition.
