No you aren't. She looks great for her age and childbirth. I'm not a fan of the headgear though. But I've never liked any headgear in the series and am an advocate for Helm Hiding options in RPGs. It does look like something Flemeth would wear though.
I just can't figure out the 'outrage' over someone who isn't going to be a romantic interest or even part of your team. She's not going to be into your character any more than she was in Inquisition.

He couldn't be a companion either way though, as Kieran is only born if the Hero of Ferelden had a relationship with Morrigan in DA: Origins, iirc.
Well she does mention him in this PC gamer article about Veilguard. But she could be referring to Inquisition.

They could do what they did in DAI, where you can create "Your" Hawke on the spot for the story.
You'll already be doing that with your Inquisitor in Veilguard.
