this game never meant to have dlc, that's fact
There is a difference between "never had plans to release dlc" and "doesn't have plans to release dlc" after a financial assessment based upon early sales. Andromeda had a Quarian dlc planned and Anthem had the 2.0 overhaul patch, those got cancelled due the lack of financial viability based on the base game early sales, meanwhile every other Bioware game had DLCs.
Saying that they "never" had the plans to, is purposely misinterpreting the information available, a disingenuous way to cope with the fact that the game couldn't even reach half of the expected sales, most likely making it pretty hard to justify any further investment on it.
You can't prove a negative, it's you that would need to prove they were ever going to release DLC in the first place outside of your own imagination.
All they've said is that they have no plans. It doesn't say they ever had any and then scrapped it.
No, it's you assuming they were going to. All they've said is they have no plans, not that anything was scrapped.
So you have no evidence that they were ever going to have DLC that was scrapped?
Again, it's you that has this backwards.
If something doesn't exist, the only proof is that it doesn't exist. You are the one claiming there were plans scrapped: you are the one responsible for proving that.
Let me know when you have evidence of your claim that they were ever going to make DLC.
You are 100% backwards on this.
The article states there are no plans for DLC. Nothing about that implies that plans were cancelled. Basic understanding of English proves me correct. Meanwhile you're claiming that plans existed (and offer no proof) and were then cancelled (and you offer no proof)
Reality and the article linked is all the proof needed for me to state: there are no plans for DLC. That's a fact as stated from Bioware in that article.
You are the one claiming something else by stating plans were cancelled.
Where is your proof these plans existed in the first place for them to be cancelled?
This proves me correct:

Unless you don't understand basic English, Meanwhile, there's no evidence of what you are claiming. It's now on you to provide proof that plans existed in order for them to be cancelled. Anything else you say without that is you proving yourself wrong repeatedly.
Already explained this for you and gave you the evidence. I'm sorry that you do not appear to understand enough English to grasp the answer you were given. It's currently on you to provide proof of what you claimed (and you have yet to even attempt it)
We're done here since you've been proven 100% wrong repeatedly and still remain in denial about it.
It's merely an observation, every other Bioware game had DLC and content updates planned, the only ones that didn't get any prior to Veilguard was Andromeda n Anthem, both financially underachieving, just as Veilguard, according to forbes.
Thus, kind of convenient for a very specific type of narrative that Veilguard is the only one that "never" any planned, meanwhile the only source of such is a extremely misinterpreted article.
There's nothing to misinterpret, it says there's no plans then there's no plans.
Anything else is you making assumptions without evidence.
No one publicly knows if there were cancelled plans, you're just speculating, at least admit that you're making an assumption and don't state it as fact. Simple really.
The only argument here is the difference between fact and opinion. Don't state something as fact if it's only your opinion.
The fact is: there are no plans for DLC. (there is evidence of this)
An opinion is that there may have been plans and they were cancelled. (there is no evidence of this)
Do you understand how simple this is yet?
