Issue with Armor Appearance

Can someone please help? I have several different armor to wear, and I can change it while in character mode (allegedly) but I only see the new armor for a split second, and the armor does not stay on Rook. It may be equipping him with the benefits of the armor but his outward appearance is always the same. Am I doing something wrong? I have upgraded companion armor and they appear to be in their new duds but it isn't working for Rook. I play on the desktop version, in case it makes a difference.

in the lighthouse there is a wardrobe in your room ... it looks like you have enabled a transmog --> no matter what armor you actually wear it will be overwritten by the armor (only visually) that you chose in your wardrobe.
go there and check it out ... when choosing the armor ther is the first option (on the top left) which disables the transmod, and takes the look of your actual equipped armor.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have that icon as an eye, and I thought meant it was visible, which is why I'm confused I can't see each new outfit.

I figured it out. I switched the eye icon again (to have a line thru it) and now I can see the armor. :)
