Nearing the end game, two chests on map...

Hello all, I'm about to start the quest "Where Plans Align", which the game tells me, starts the endgame.

Throughout my playthrough, there have been two chests on two different maps that I haven't been able to get to: one is in Dock Town, under the Temple Courtyard. There seems to be a way to it, a doorway, but there's a blue energy shield in front of it, and through that shield, I see another doorway blocked by those crystals that you have to use Taash's breath weapon on.

The other is in Treviso on the Crow Rooftops, not far from where you fast travel in - however, oddly, that chest icon has disappeared.

I've been good at doing all the side and companion quests, I think I did them all. My question is:

_Do any of you know how to get to those chests? Am I missing something?

_Does the endgame quest take me through Dock Town and Treviso again?

to answer your seconds question first: no, once you start endgame, you are done with everything else

as for the 2 chests ... if think i know which ones you mean, not sure if i can describe how you can get them, however i am still going to try.

the second one is most likely the one you only get by doing lucanis compaion quest ... you will be able to acceess it at his final mission. If i am not mistaken then you can not access it if you have missed it during his companion quest.

the first one ... cant help you there as i dont remember that exactly ... however it seems like you have to enter from the other side ... most likely when you are in you can disable the energy shield from the inside

Thank you... bummer! I did the Lucanis companion quests and I looked, specifically, how to get that chest, and never found a way.

The other one at Dock Town - thanks. I think I've got to just chalk it up as a loss.

I just confirmed the door to the Treviso chest where the Lucanis mission starts is closed after completing the mission, so yes, you won't be able to get it afterwards.

The Docktown chest below the Chantry you can get immediately after doing the fire-breathing practice quest of Taash. At the magical barrier, there is a ladder going up to the bridge that leads into the Chantry. Cross the bridge into the Chantry and take the stairs down on the left into the small courtyard below the bridge. There will be a few enemies to kill. The metal gate did not show me the "Tab" hint for using the Thaash fire breath ability, but you can still press Tab to activate it and then go through. On the other side, you need Bellara to open the magical barrier if you want to do open the passage all the way, and you also need Lucanis to get to the chest. You'll obviously use the dagger, depending on your selected companions. The magical barriers at the chest are deactivated when you pick up the momento.
