Classy.
Then don't play it.... but don't act so ridiculous....
Considering how many players were & are still playing Veilguard, I would say that you're putting your head in the sand here in order to avoid seeing that the majority of players all around the world don't like Veilguard nor were interested by it. And most of the fans of the franchise hated it. Even I believed that there would be more people playing Veilguard thanks to the franchise (I was wrong on that point).
As for the whole "losing their job" thing, I don't really care. Why? Because they like to do it on people who disagree with them / have different opinions. Treat others like you would like to be treated. One side decided to ignore that... and they're now receiving the consequences of their own actions...
Do also note that it might not just be "losing their job". They could lose their whole career. Who would want to recruit someone who contributed to the downfall of the previous company they were in? Yep... They could end up being blacklisted.
Moving back to the original post:
Concerning Mass Effect, it's probable that it'll be a flop as well. It takes quite a lot of time in order to make such games... so it's unlikely that, considering the state of Veilguard, they will be able to steer the game away from any obnoxious messaging. They would also need to attract some more competent staffs as well... Maybe even call back the ones who left the company...?
And I'll not buy the next Bioware Game before it is 90% off. Wouldn't call it an abomination, but not the Dragon Age I was looking forward to, either. And I even liked Andromeda ;).
But let the market decide it. Bioware making another game won't hurt anyone.
In the worst case it will provide content to some Youtubers.
People aren't buying games like this, thats why the other studios are being shutdown for creating a money sink & a commercial failures. The idea of it closing down is so it can't butcher another series like its done with DA since a large majority of fans aren't playing this game with less then 1 million sales, with such a large budget
Treat others how you want to be treated.
And if you don't understand what I mean by that, I would recommend you to look at what the ones who like Veilguard, used to say & do to things they dislike / hate.
As for "not buying" / "nor playing", people are already doing that. It seems however that this is also a problem when they do that because they now are "refusing to give it a chance"...?
BioWare in name only, these days
To be fair, most of the people who created Dragon Age, the ones who built Bioware, are no longer there.
I want to be treated with respect and kindness, so that's I treat other people. Also, I very much like Veilguard myself (I own it on PS5) and I'm not destroying things I hate. You need stop judging everyone by how some people behave.
I just want people to be more accepting of each other, instead of just throwing hate around. This whole attitude of saying people who like Veilguard are wrong or they're clueless, and the people who don't like the game are the ones that are right, and them calling for the series to be dropped is the only right answer, is what gets me annoyed. People have different opinions, different interests, none of them are concrete facts, its opinion!
Just because a lot of people dislike the game doesn't mean it should be destroyed!
