To save you some grinding for Bellara as long as your positive around her in dialogue and supportive she is one of the easiest to max out without much grinding. Neve and Lucanis are so so difficult without giving away any spoilers depending on certain choices to max out. However, depending if your really attached to the idea of either of them being along in the end game as long as you do their hero status quest you don't need to have them max for them to achieve whatever you assign them (if they are suited for the task). This goes for all characters.
Anyways, hope that helps.
Edit: Forgot the obvious zone - The Crossroads as well.
Correct. Not all of the companions gain reputation killing their favored enemy it just merely means they get bonuses to damaging them. Lucanis, Davrin, and Taash seem to only regularly get a slight boost to their bond by killing their favored opponent. Neve gets rep every so often but isn't an always from every ventori fight. Davrin and Taash both can gain rep from a final fight up top on the final island in the Crossroads with the darkspawn with the three bosses and gain rep to Wardens and Lords of Fortune.
