Does it work on a HDD?

Last time I played this (on day 1) on my HDD, it gave me an error when I loaded a save file. Is it fixed now or is it still broken?

Minimum settings allow for HDD. That said, I highly recommend going for an SSD. All of my Steam games are on their own SSD drive in my computer. They're fairly inexpensive, especially around the holidays. A 1 or 2 TB SSD drive will more than likely be plenty of room, especially if you're like me and uninstall games once you're finished with them.

Yep it does work. I moved to mine for a while as i was low on my M2.
However the load times go up a fair bit and i get some stutter when i was on the HDD so i moved it back to the M2 SSD.

M2 is still relatively expensive.
I personally woudn't bother with a standard SSD these days as almost all newer titles are designed for consoles which anticipate a fairly fast M2 drive for best performance.

I use a PNY CS900 2TB SSD without any problem. Bear in mind, though, I got mine on sale during the Black Friday season, which is when I recommend anyone pick up parts for their PC. They're usually heavily discounted around then.
