Although some boss fights are still fun (I just finished a fight against 2 dragons and it was a rare moment of fun).
No strategy in this game, but timing to dodge attacks and team building to manage aggro and get heals.
Aside from the fights, the "exploration" (going from A to B with fights and uninteresting dialogue sequences actually) is not fun.
To be honest, it reminds me of Immortal of Aveum. I had fun at first, then I got bored, I painfully finished knowing the end of the story which was meh.
ps: I'm playing on nightmare mode
There are weaknesses, but it's hard to find a game lacking them
Unfortunately, there's more than a few incels lurking who will tell you that the game will infect you with rabies or some other such nonsense.
I hope this helps
It's a pity that there's no way to save/restore skill point allocations, because the fact that you can respec skills at no cost whenever you're out of combat encourages experimentation, as does the ability to add enchantments to gear.
and the puzzle is made for todler
It was always less repetitive than using 1 combo plus 1 or 2 skills that might be interesting in a particular fight.
And this came with better storytelling. This is not the case here because of the poor dialogues and the personality of the companions. This makes the repetitiveness less bearable.
The gameplay is dynamic and fits well with the action sequences, But it's not good enough to stand on its own, especially on high difficulty where it would make sense to play if you don't rely on the story.
I really love the game personally. The story, the companions, the fighting style, the multiple build options. It's a really fun game. If you want to try it, you can play the first five hours for free on EA to see if you like it or not.
