Character refuses to jog (controller)
I am using an xbox controller and my character keeps walking when I press the joystick forward. My character should jog... It's not the controller as it works perfectly fine with all other games. Does anyone know a fix for this?

There's a keyboard shortcut keybind for walking in the settings that isn't able to be bound to controllers. If you're playing on your PC then you might have accidentally hit whatever the key is. Check your keyboard bindings for it.

I have a "move forward" key binding only for keyboard. Nothing that specifies walking or sprinting.

It's there. There's two in fact. One for Walk (Hold) and one for Walk (Toggle) both located extremely close to Move Forward.

Both keys are empty (unbinded) and I'm still having the issue. It's super annoying. Can only walk with character unless I toggle to run.

Bind something and hit the key then unbind it.

Umm you have to push down on your joystick to toggle run and walk.

There's three movement speeds (run, jog and walk) but only two of them are normally accessible with a controller (run and jog). It normally defaults to jog with run activated by pressing L3. Using a kb/m there's an additional keybind to slow your movement to a walk while holding down a button or to toggle it on until you press it again, but this isn't possible to bind on a controller using the in-game keybinds. You can sort of achieve it by not fully engaging the joystick when you move but it's not forced walking like the toggle applies.

It sounds like the OP has engaged the forced walk mode toggle in some way despite using controller, whether via the keyboard keybind for it or a bug.
