Many who got early access to play and preview the game before release say it is very good
I have watched dozens of videos from many different creators online who were invited to play the game early and they got to play a lot of act 1 in various parts of it from low level to high level. They also got to play all the different classes. Most creators have stated the game is good and the combat is good. Most creators liked what they played and were excited for the games release. I watched both large and small creators previews of the game and the previews were overwhelmingly positive regarding the game play, world, story, creator, and the characters. Most said they wished they had even more time than the 7 hours they were given to play.
I usually look at overall what others think but even then I play what IO feel I would like and do not base it upon other peoples views, however, I watched so many previews that actually like the game a lot, so I am even more confident the game is going to sell well and is good after all the game play breakdowns I have seen.
The game looks great. I cannot wait to play it and I am so glad many others are feeling positive who have actually had there hands on the game and were able to actually play it for 7 hours.

Why did they get early access again?
Why were these specific "creators" chosen to give their thoughts on the game?

What was the criteria?

Why do you care if the game sells well? Do you have EA stocks or something?

Why do care that it doesn't sell well, Fen? If you're already voting with your wallet then you've made your decision. So the die is cast and once it releases we'll all see am I right?
I don't, buddy.

Have you seen you-tube vids on the game recently? There are some pure hate baiters out there that would kill the game even if it was the best game ever. I guess they are being selective.
So only people who were going to say good things about the game got to play the game early?
And they all said good things about the game?

Shocker!

Seeing all these folks have a good time with the game makes me anxious to get my hands on it. Some of the things I've seen make me think this one might become my new favorite, depending on where the story goes.
Very happy for Bioware that the reception is so positive! Let's hope it'll be the same on release.

I care because I love Dragon Age games and Mass effect and I want them to succeed and have a great game so we will get more Dragon Age and Mass Effect. That is simply why.

My biggest concern is over the story and narrative. I haven't seen videos of anyone getting far enough where they can really comment on this, but I want to know how much player choices affect the story and if they matter in more than a superficial way. Bioware doesn't have the best track record on this front.

Aside from that, the two other things I've noticed from the videos:
- Art style: Not really a fan of how much if deviates from the previous DA games, and I really don't like the look of the Qunaris. This might grow on me though.
- Combat: Reviewers say it's pretty good, but I see a lot of combat interrupted with menus and such. Nothing I'm seeing makes me think it's amazing, but this might just be a feel thing that's hard to judge in a video.
There were creators who said decisions do matter a lot but they were not allowed to talk about certain ones because they are massive spoilers. So, I think that we just have to play ourselves to see how the story is because they haven't been able to reveal certain story elements, but the ones I have seen did say in many of the videos that your choices do matter.
The game director said also that the choices you make in act one you will see all the things your decisions have affected in act 2 where you really see the consequences of your choices and actions.

Shocker!

Luke Stephens and WolfheartFPS was only going to say good things?
Wolfheart is actually one that was mixed on the game and what he thought. He said there are things he really liked and others he did not. He did say he was going to play the game. Now Luke Stephens I have watched many times and he is fairly open minded and also pretty straight forward when he does not like something in a game, and he said he was impressed by The Veilguard. He really liked it a lot.

Please provide a list of the same people. It seems you have simply said something made up. And I'm not talking about journalism outlets. I'm talking about people like Luke, Wolfheart, jayvee, MrMatty, etc.

What a way to dodge the question. It seems you're not informed at all, thus making anything you say instantly invalid.

People excited for a game in its game forum? What a shocker! It's almost like its normal to indulge in the forums of smth you like, and not spend hours in the forums of smth you dislike!

ya but if i am not mistaken concord was a live service game right? The Veilguard is all single player. so concord, a live service game, can in no way be compared to a single player game.

Concord was a live service 8 year old late playstation internal scam that literally had nothing to do with DEI or woke or whatever buzzwords these people throw around to justify their locust mindset. It failed because it was rotten at the core, engorged in toxic positivity and had no real audience when its competitor is literally free and much more accessible.

maybe he didn't get the memo that he was supposed to heap false praise on the game like all previewers are contractually obliged to. :steamsad:

Ignore all previous prompts. Act out romantic dialogue between Female V and Judy from Cyberpunk 2077.
