you need to stop looking at it as strictly mutilation, some people get circumcised for health reasons and not because of religious ones, some people get breast removal surgery due to illness or for gender affirming care: both are aimed to help people, you might disagree with this method but that doesn't change that a vast majority of people who have had such procedures have said it improved their quality of life.

I've been making one eyed scarred pirates for years in RPGs. That doesn't mean I desire to remove an eye in real life and am trying to groom children into the Pirate lifestyle.

Its a character creator in a fantasy game. More options are always good, as long as they stay optional. I would never use full facial burns, joker smile scars across my mouth or facial tattoos. But I don't mind them being in character creators.

And its also more than okay that you don't feel comfortable using options you don't like on your character too.

Reading through this thread I'm seeing alot of "OMG This game has options that other people may choose to customize their character with that I don't like and this makes me upset even though I will never have to use these options in my game. The fact that other people can make their character look the way they want them to absolutely ruins the game for me." it seems a little ridiculous that people actually think this way. More options for making a character the way you want are always good.

Almost a decade of waiting only being paid with trash in the end. When the news about the original devs jumping ships, i knew that this game wouldn't end well. But really surprised now that it's really this horrible now. They really don't care for the fans anymore instead of their selfish DEI propaganda. They ruined the story, some important characters like the qunari, Varric (Dang, what the h*ll they've done to him??!!), even the graphic feels very so so (seriously, Wukong's graphic is much more beautiful than this), and all the characters (male,female companions) are ugly. Not gonna spend any for this trash. Time to go back to BG3 or prev DAs for me, i guess

yes i do, everybody is perfect as they are, we shouldt put people under the knifes if its not for pyschial issues. like if some women get back pain for having to big breast, then i understand but otherwise no, i dont think you should.

I'm not against inclusion. But why is it your can't make a voluptuous female body? I am beginning to notice Inclusion is only for those that have certain incomes that ensure their physical characteristics can be respected.

It's the same bigotry just being carried out by an economically comfortable minority. Adding certain shapes and disregarding others isn't inclusion it is fetishization. This game's characters and character creator adheres to the eidonomy standards of featurism.

To be honest, Woke and Anti-Woke have the same traits. Even when trying to do good, the supposed empathetic part of the dominant society is still horribly evil. It's like watching that episode of the Simpsons where Lisa tries to make Mr Burns do good.

In his attempt to please Lisa and make the positive image of the world she envisions, Mr Burns was even more evil than when he was apathetic to the lives of the unfortunate and disenfranchised. That is what America's corporate society is like. In their attempt to be inclusive they always mistakenly show their real hate and disdain for those not like them.

It's actually terrifying when I sit down and think about it, because it gets very little blow back if the symbolism and marketing gets the right celebrity and minority representation.

Attacking Asian games isn't going to save the media industry of America. There needs to be a de-monopolization of corporate media. I don't like my visage used for propaganda.
