Dragon Age: The Veilguard – A Masterpiece of Diversity, Stunning Characters, and Empowering Women!
Hey everyone! I just wanted to gush about how amazing Dragon Age™: The Veilguard is. Honestly, I feel like this game is everything we needed in modern RPGs and more.

Diversity is a HUGE win here. From the get-go, it’s clear that The Veilguard embraces a wide range of characters, races, and cultures. The devs did an incredible job making the world feel rich and inclusive, something that many games struggle with. It doesn’t feel forced—it feels real. It’s great to see people from all walks of life represented, and it makes the game world more immersive.

The characters look absolutely stunning—whether it’s the intricate armor designs or the incredibly expressive facial animations, it’s clear that the art team poured their hearts into this. Every character is unique and stands out, and I love how the different races are portrayed with such care. The variety in designs is honestly next-level, and I find myself stopping just to admire how awesome they look.

Now let’s talk about WOMAN POWER! This game does such a great job of showing strong, capable women without relying on tired tropes. Whether it’s a mage wielding raw power, a rogue leading a rebellion, or a warrior smashing through enemies, every female character feels fully fleshed out and empowered. It’s such a breath of fresh air to see women depicted as complex, multi-dimensional leaders and heroes.

The whole team deserves massive credit for making these characters not just likable, but inspiring. They’re people you want to root for, and as a player, it’s great to feel part of their journey.

I’m honestly so excited to see how the rest of the story plays out and how these amazing characters continue to evolve. Huge kudos to the devs for delivering a game that feels both modern and timeless. Can’t wait to hear what you all think!

Also you can pet the cat!

Ok, I know that this is probably a ragebait post and all.... But apropos the last line:

I definitely always pet the cat/dog/owlbear in every game, at every opportunity. Even though there is always at least one cat sitting next to me or at my feet while I game. And I could just pet that real cat instead.

Crazy, right?

There's something about a cat that just makes you want to pet be they real or in a game. May I point to DotW and TotK where one of the most requested things to be added to the sequel game was the ability to pet the dogs and people were sad it wasn't added.

This game looks terrible what the hell are you talking about. I'll wait for it to come to game pass or something before I ever drop a penny on this garbage. I'll go play mine craft or something masculine like space marines. Thanks for ruining one of my favorite IPs.

Exactly. I talked to my brother about this yesterday. He isn't Veilguard target audience and doesn't intend to play it. Although he played DAO and DA2 years ago, currently he plays mostly Souls games. But he agreed with me that petting the animals is always cool in any game.

I miss Dragon Age Origins but let's be honest, they will never be able to do something so great again.

did you ever play RPG ? doubt it

The game includes all segments of society and is not imperialist, bla bla bla. There is no Turkish support in the game, take care. These companies boast about how inclusive and cultured they are, but they don't even include Turkish subtitles. Are you playing a game or cultural imperialism? Don't put it in Russian. You are at war.

What is your problem with Turkish? can someone explain this? If this is a game and there is no politics in it, why are there no Turkish subtitles? So you are playing a policy here, not a game.
