I can't remember the last Bioware game that didn't have DLC to expand the story, and usually add on to the ending. Jade Empire and Kotor I guess, but even BG2 had it's story finished in a post-release expansion.
Chances are if it's reasonably sucessful, there will be content DLCs tho. If it flops hard (Edit: Yes, like Andromeda), probably not.
Yes, I have to think Andromeda too.
Because it's unusual that the “Deluxe Edition” doesn't come with any game-relevant extras and 20€ just for skins is kind of strange for a single-player game.
I just wonder if they're approaching add-ons more cautiously after the Andromeda fiasco. That would be a shame. BioWare has always made really good add-ons. That's why I had the question. I don't have such a problem waiting. The last expansion of “Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous” came out this June (so about 3 years after release). I could wait for that too.
The memes. The glorious memes.
I hope not. I am 100% for mods that add new player-created content. But a mod that simply makes something that normally costs money free is kind of piracy.
Now is $20 for a few skins a good deal? No. But then just make do without the skins. Leather seats in a car are probably not worth $2000 either. But that doesn’t mean you should just steal them from the dealership when nobody is looking.
But if someone makes their own custom leather seats, more power to them.
So I definitely agree with you about “Trespasser”. But “Leviatan” and “Javik” only provide additional information about the overall picture of Mass Effect. The story would end the same way without them.
Yes, that's why I prefer to wait. If I came back after 3 years, I'd be at a point between what I still know and what I've forgotten. I mean, I have over 700 games. I'm certainly not going to run out of alternatives, so waiting isn't such a problem.

And to all those allergic to intelligence:
This is a real question and not another space to get rid of your troll ♥♥♥♥. You ARE ignored AND reported to Steam. Trolling is not allowed according to the comment rules.
Sure thing! The dlc discussion starts around the 7:00 mark of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ph3Z3mtjxac
Intellectual property is still property. Nike probably spends hundreds of millions designing and advertising and licensing the next Air Jordans, and probably only a couple dollars to make each pair. They sell them for $150+. That doesn’t mean you can steal a pair, leave $2 on the counter. And call it even.
Pirating a game, or game content, is still stealing. So is sneaking into a movie. Or sharing a Netflix account outside your household.
Just because a lot of us may have done it when we were younger doesn’t make it morally correct, especially now when we could absolutely afford to pay for it, but choose not to.
