Not so much on PC, console players have been stubbornly keeping hold of physical copies - even with lots of effort from various corps.

Honestly, aside from personal wants, at this point, so much bad press around it, that releasing the creator could only do good.
Made a lot of peple buy DD2 tho, could be the same case here, unless it is as the doomsayers say.

No point in getting a digital edition, you do not own the game. PlayStation crashed a few days ago and any game you've purchased or downloaded wouldn't load.

i agree! messing with the DD2 character creator convinced me to buy the game. it could also convince a lot of people to buy this game. who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mean...go into the electronics department of a store, or look at various online retailers, or go to a number of video game websites to buy directly from them, and you will find your answer.
