Since Morrigan will have a 'Bigger role than we expect'
What does that mean for the world setting with her?, at this point I would just really like to know what her default state is, does or doesn't she have a kid?, she did in Inquisition, if that was your world state it is a pretty big and important factor, will Kieran even be in here?, will she just ignore the jarring big decision whether she has a child or not?, please don't attack me, I am just genuinely curious what Morrigan's default state would be, I could go deeper and ask about Varric's relations to Hawke, but that is not my primary concern right now.

Just how the "Default" state Morrigan would be, I am genuinely just worried about why all these big named characters are gonna appear, but it does not sound like that their big impact decisions will even be referenced, does anyone even know at this early stage?

Its entirely possible it questions like this could be handled in game, even if you aren't asked about it in character creation.

For example, in KOTOR2, there wasn't an import, but you could decide things like Revan's gender, etc through dialogue options as you're playing.

But really anyone's guess at this point. I'm sure Kieran won't appear either way.

I expect Kieran will not show up.

Simply because he doesn't have any more plot relevance after DAI.
He's a normal child now, maybe he'll have a cameo but at most he's going to be a background character.

Morrigan will be interesting, since the Well of Mythal is a big choice. But there is the question of if the power of the Well even functions anymore, or if it ended with her.

Hinges on the question of if Mythal is even still alive. Did Solas absorb her and end Mythal for good? If Mythal is gone for good, I suspect Morrigan lost its power.

It doesn't matter what her role is, all my choices regarding her, and they are super important choices, don't apply and do not matter.

Does she have a son? Does not carry. Is the son a god-baby or a normal baby? Does not matter. Can she be controlled by Solas because she drank from the Well of Sorrows? Does not matter. Can the Inquisitor be controlled because he/she drank from the Well so Morrigan can act more independently? Does not matter.
All of these things matter, have you not played any bioware games? these choices matter a lot, its what makes Bioware games great.

They've removed those choices from the game. Now the only choices that matter are who your Inquisitor banged, if they swore to stop Solas, and if they disbanded the inquisition.

Literally no other choice you've made in any DA game will carry over.

I know that, I just find it strange they will reintroduce characters that major events has happened and they may not reference at all what happened...

I agree with you there, I just want our decisions to matter.

they only put Morrigan in to get the core fans to buy the game and now no choice in if she has romance the warden ♥♥♥♥ is gonna hit the fan for that

more something along the lines of "that happened four games ago and isn't relevant because we said so."

I admit, i am looking forward to see the excuse about her. Especially, since it wouldn't be too hard to ust add few lines explaining things.
Inquisition had few words, for couple of world states. Was enough for me.
