Another Rogue Trader, nice.
I'm waiting for Outlaws to come to Steam at the inevitable 70% discount, and then I'll likely grab it.
I assume that's Rise of the Tomb Raider?
That series of Tomb Raider games is pretty fun.
I never could get into WoW. Granted I last tried it probably over 10 years ago.
FFXVI ›› Silent Hill 2 ›› Starfield - Shattered Space ›› Professional Baseball Spirits 2024-2025 ›› Shin chan: Shiro and the Coal Town
It is quite okay. I mostly like it for the historical aspect it takes inspiration from.
It gets a bit samey however, despite giving you two parts of the gameplay to focus on.
Managing your train and sending squads to points of interests on the map and the combat missions.
The missions are a bit Commandos lite. You are encouraged to complete the missions mostly in a stealthy way (you are outnumbered and there is a limit to how much ammo your troops have), but there are also an absence of some mechanics you would expect from stealth games. Like guards reacting to dead guards appearing in their vision.
They don't do that, they just walk past them with no care in the world.
Apart from that I still think it is a solid enough game, but it could have done better with a couple of more ideas.
I have to look up those last two, never heard of them.
I'm...not sure if I will try Shattered Space or not. Starfield was a big let down for me. In some ways it was impressive, but ya Idk.
FFXVI looks really cool though.
I need to beat some Resident Evil games before I consider tackling something like Silent Hill...I'm not good with scary stuff lol. You interested in Slitterhead?
That's too bad. Still might try it eventually though. Would be nice to see a big update that maybe expands on some of the stuff you mentioned.
Can't say i play only 1 game , i spent my spare time most often in FO76 last half year together with ME and between , Starfield,Cyberpunk,The Witcher 3.
I..uh...prefer to mix & match my play everyday.
76 honestly was fun. It looked terrible at launch, but I bought it not long ago for like...7 dollars, and I got my money's worth for sure.
Still need to play Cyberpunk DLC.
I started Enshrouded with a coworker. It was fun, and Nightingale looks cool. But I can't get into survival games if I'm solo.
It's not for everyone. It's grindy, repetitive, lots of downtime while you travel between zones and continents, very little in the way of convenience or streamlining - a quest might be handed in in Thousand Needles, then you're told to take a 10-minute trip to speak to a guy in Stranglethorn, who then says "thanks" and sends you on another 10-minute trip back to Thousand Needles - that kind of thing.
But I find that part of it's charm - or at least part of the old game's (Classic Era) charm.
The more modern retail client stripped all that out and made levelling super-fast, super-easy and super convenience, and removed all the small RPG touches from the game. I hate it and have no interest in playing the modern version.
Phantom Liberty was excellent.
As for me, I've largely wrapped up an Inquisition playthrough and am Back in Rogue Trader because of the new DLC. Its good enough (so far) to warrant a new playthrough.
If I manage to get the time, I'll try and fit in the new Starfield and My Time At Sandrock DLCs before Veilguard.
As far as the Elden Ring DLC I have been collecting those scadu fragments. the other thing is ashes to collect i believe. I been collecting those too. The DLC is definitely harder than the main game but I was enjoying it.
