From Origins to Veilguard: Your Theories
I think a lot of people (me included) don’t realize how wild it is about to be experience things we’ve only seen in codex entries or heard about as theories online. The fact that this game is going to address the Evanuris, their possible similarity to the old Gods, the Titan-dwarf situation, Qunari and their dragon association, Morrigan Flemeth and Mythal situation and so much more really makes me wonder what this universe has got in store for us going next. These forums are 90% ragebait and schizo meltdowns, but please share any theories you might have for Veilguard going forward. I’m very interested to see what people think.

I told myself not to post on the forums tonight for reasons but I can't resist this. Theory time.

1: the exact nature of the connection between the old gods and the Elvhenuras who I don't believe are one and the same.

2: Shartan and Solas connection?

3: elvhenuras and Blight connection seems inevitable.

4: who is the 'he' from Sandel's prophecy? Solas? Elgar’nan? These seem most likely.

5: what happened to the soul of Urthemial?

6: if Solas and Shartan are connected what can we learn of Andraste?

7: Arlathan.

8: qunari and Ghilan'nain connection?

9: was the mention of elves loosing their hair when in their hundreds more telling than we thought as it seems to be consistent with the exception of Shartan who seems to have vague ties to Solas.

Those are the main theories I have and lacking in detail. Feel free to ask for more details.

My first theory is barely tinfoil hatty because it is so obvious: the Veil Jumpers are the Executors. In the image accompanying the short story about Strife and Irelin, they wear the Executors symbol in plain sight.
We will finally learn through them what is beyond the sea.

My second theory would be: Andraste had the soul of an Old God, like Kieran. More specifically, the soul of Dumat (Dirthamen ?) because she was born the exact year of the end of the First Blight. I don't think she was an OGB, rather her half sister was and the wisp passed to her when the sister died.

My last one is not fully formed in my head: Qunari were created by Ghilain'nain and we will find out from what life form besides dragons.

Also something something Kal Sharok. I have too many theories to pick one there.
Ghilain’nain being responsible for creating the Qunari is very interesting! We’ve mostly heard that they might be tevinters experiment subjects but with how much Corinne emphasises on Ghilain’nain and her love for creating monsters and moulding life in general this is very plausible.

Shartan and Solas being the same or shartan being an agent of Fen’Harel is very plausible. And yeah it seems like sandal spoke of solas, which makes me wonder what sandal is. I read somewhere he might bear the soul of an elvhen god of creation whose name I sadly forgot. With Harding gaining magic, and titans most likely being in the game im sure we’ll get an answer

I've shared some of these in other places before but here goes:

1) The reason the darkspawn look different is because ghilan'nain used red lyrium to have demons possess them. These are basically abominations. This is the tie to the Mortalitasi, because necromancy is simply putting a spirit into a corpse.

2) The Caretaker is Cole from Dragon Age Inquistion. One of his lines is "I go where I am needed" which is something said in Coles epilogue. Also if you look at his model his head kind of looks like a person wearing a wide brimmed hat.

3) I think Solas is the Maker. I think it's all one myth, but Solas did create the veil and in doing so essentially created the Fade as well.

Cole being the caretaker is messing up my mind the stupid hat makes perfect sense now

There is no more Storyline Theory. They have changed the Story to put in the DEI propaganda.
