No, white companions!

Fellow white people, I know you have heard some scary stuff about how you will be thrown into a sea of POCs in Veilguard, and will feel unsafe and unseen.

But I want to assure you that there are three white companions! That’s half of all the companions, if you don’t count Taash the qunari (who is too distinct to be of any Earthly race).

There’s Lace Harding, the adorable, and previously adored, dwarf, who people have been clamoring to romance since 2014!

There’s Lucanis and Emmrich, who together have been soaking gaming chairs around the world since the first trailer!

There’s tons of white returning characters!

Varric!
Solas!
Morrigan!
(Almost certainly) Dorian!
The two most likely White Divines?!
Cullen?!
Alistair and/or Anora?!

So it will be ok!

Well, technically that's not inconsistent. Maybe in his mind, Dorian is an octoroon, and Lucanis is a quadroon. Both are unacceptable as inclusion among the "white" companions, as a single drop of non-white blood is too much non-white blood. But Dorian can still come in the front door, while Lucanis has to use the back.
