Builds question
Is there a large variety of items to try various interesting builds or it's limited amount of items?

ive seen people say there is a lot of gear in the game and the skill tree is bigger.

For yourself there is a decent amount but zero customization for your companions. The skill tree is more vast than past DA games but naturally it is mostly fluff as with any skill tree in that style. The variety of items isn't the biggest since this game doesn't have a lot of exploration and is pretty linear within the map cells.

interesting. I had hoped the bigger skill tree would allow for glass canon builds. I like making characters that hit like a truck - imagine a two handed warrior - but die in a 1 or 2 hits.

Thanks, regarding to stats and drops, are they the same guaranteed drops from enemies and locations or is there some RNG involved in getting items?

You can make something close to what you are describing. Though the warrior is pretty tanky due to class bonuses. For a glass cannon build a mage is more effective choice.

A mix of both.

I see thanks for the clarification.

A bit off topic, which class do you recommend playing, the most interesting one that can be super fun to make builds for? (based on info we know so far)

initially - before the previews - I intended to play warrior and do another playthrough as spellblade but you can look up some gameplay for yourself and decide what you might enjoy most.

Zero replayability incoming, zero reason to exhaust dialogue incoming probably not even worth waiting for a sale tbh
