More like halfway into ME3. The first 70% of that game is just as brilliant as the predecessors. Remember the Mordin scene? That's ME3 too, not just the ending.
mostly ME3 was good, but ending just not good as can be, sad but true.

Bioware hasn't made a good game in almost 15 years. You can argue about the financial success of DA:I, but's that the only questionable one. The rest of their games were just bad. If you go back, even popular games like ME3 had a ton of writing issues already back then.
And after that it was a flop after flop.
IDK what people were expecting, but for me it was Bioware who taught me not to preorder games with Andromeda and only consider buying them after all gamer's reviews are in.
If Bioware goes out of business, I would actually be happy. My hope is that if there are any talented people left in that studio, maybe they could get together after the studio shuts down and create something actually good.

Honestly I don’t think so. I think the game will do well, but fan backlash will hopefully prompt EA to clean house and get a dev team in there to go back to DA’s roots, which is mature dark fantasy. The woke preachy progressive angle is hurting them.

Inquisition made $30m in gross revenue on Steam and it supposedly cost 145m so wouldn't call it a success...

According to some sources DA:I is the most successful game ever made by Bioware with over 12 million copies sold. Although I cannot confirm these numbers, it was reported even back in 2015 that it was the most successful launch of a game Bioware ever made.

I don't think it will do well. It's number 12 on PSN and only cracked the Top 10 on Steam yesterday. It releases in a day and a half. Word of mouth won't be good. I've seen the dialogue and gameplay, and it's rough. The lack of character choice in an RPG is mind boggling. Aloy from HZD had more varied personality choices than this game.

I don't see it. Mass Effect worked. Why won't Dragon Effect?

12 millions over how long and at what price (it got discounted very quickly) and how many refunds? And Bioware never sold many copies so I don't doubt it, what I doubt is that they made a lot of money, considering costs
This is actually my point when I said you can argue about DA:I success :) There are many people who legit liked it too.
