Mortismal isn't a shill. He's a CRPG nerd. He is very positive about most games he reviews though - he isn't a fan of criticising things. He even tried to find something positive to say about Forspoken.

I also think he really loves the Dragon Age universe and lore.

No idea about the others.

Mortismal is probably the least shill reviewer on the platform. I would argue Skill Up and MrMatty are way bigger shills. MrMatty had an interview with Todd Howard where he just glazed him the whole time over how amazing Starfield was, and Skill Up's meme nickname on the internet is literally "Shill Up"

The heck does not a "fan of ctiticizing things" mean? Sometimes things are in the neutral other times there is only black and white.

Game are objectivly things in the spectrum of black and white either good bad or meh.

Some of those are from the people who were actually on the DA council who were consulted by BioWare.

They literally made the game.

Of course they wrote positive reviews of the game.

If you did a little research, you'd realize that their reviews are full of criticism, but normal constructive criticism, and that's okay because no game is perfect. Which doesn't change the overwhelmingly positive impression.

While I agree Mort is not a shill, he specifically focused on mechanics and gameplay. Mort barely at all touched on anything regarding the writing, character personalities and the story over all. Skill did & so did Matty who tore this game ti pieces because of its awful writing.

This game is not Dragon Age. They changed a dark, low fantasy RPG made for a mature audience in to a bright, cartoony, high fantasy action game catering to children where you can't even be mean let lone evil. Dragon Age was interesting because it was a dark, mature setting and you could be neutral, a hero or straight up sadistic villain if you want. Vielguard is Dragon Age in name only.

Dragon age has always been slightly above Saturday morning cartoon level writing and theatrics. Let’s not act like this has been anything else.

It’s silly. Over the top. Over serious. In love with itself. Not very mature. And people love it.
