He better hope so. Because if he wasn't honest or leaned into his own bias rather that make an objective take, then he will lose a lot of trust outside of his core fans.
I hope for your sake they BBQ well
I shan’t hold you to that, my friend!
As to everyone else on here: considering we cannot agree on what our favorite Dragon Age, Mass Effect or overall BioWare game so far is, I am sure this game will not put those debates to rest. Nor should it. Tastes differ.
From everything I have seen, however, I do think it will probably be my favorite DA game for sure, and will likely edge out the Mass Effects we’ve had so far as well.
Even if it psases from fun to great, I do not feel in any danger of it closing on say, the mentioned ME from everything I've seen.
Then again, yeah, super subjective, because I feel like for example Marvel fans might find it just incredible. That's why I say promise to myself, rather than some crazy forum wager I will stream on Twitch later, haha.

That one is not completely positive.
She speaks negatively about the absence of sexy armours for her female character (she likes to be sexy and show more skin) and the artstyle (she is very against the artstyle and gives a comparison about Solas shown as more realistic in previous versions of "DragonAge:Dreadwolf" and they stylized the characters in the end, but she likes the world). She speaks very positively about the story and banter (she wanted to interact with the banter and instead was forced to just hear the companions, even so she really liked their banter) and partially the combat (but she went with god-mode cause the first times she died a lot and didn't want to lose time re-making parts).
There is more, but I just wanted you to know that this review got several negative points too. You can see there are 15 (!) minutes of negative opinion about the character's artstyle alone, but she also said that if it wasn't for the look it would have been the perfect game for her.
Imho it's good if Bioware hear about the stylized characters being seen as a negative point even in the positive reviews, cause this time is still half-stylized chars and it's fine enough, but the next time they may go fully cartoon and it would be bad for this series (I like cartoon games too, but an emotional rpg like DA shouldn't go down that route imho).
Bioware heard about the single player. They heard about the hairstyles and character creator in general (Veilguard improved so much from the infamous "50 shades of baldness" of Inquisition). They may also hear about this "style-issue" and improve for the next game.
