I could be wrong, but it feels unlikely.
I guess it depends on what choices we can actually influence and if there will be any references beyond the initial world state that can be picked.
Given what I know, my wardens child with Morrigan will likely never be addressed, which is a huge disappointment, but I'm looking forward to pursuing the story ties with Solas.
why woud we actually want to see anyone so insignificant make a cameo?
heck asking for one of the other companions of previous games outside varric and ofc solas i can understand but you asking liek a character like gamlen or Gregory Dedrick to make a reapearance.
does not make any sense other then ragebaiting
yes an open ending DAI tried to play with.
but then again you need actual good storywriting and what i have seen so far it's just a cringefest
Dorian has to make a reappearance, there's no way he doesn't when we're in his homeland, plus my Inquisitor romanced him, I'm super curious.
Nah I really loved Bull and Krem and their dynamic, the idea of him sacrificing everything he knew for the Chargers, his defensiveness of his men.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Krem heading a contingent of the chargers while Bull is off doing some crazy ♥♥♥♥.
I'd also love to see Sandal return
which can't be implemented in this game
cause you can actually just port over 3 arguably minor choices from DAI and all before that get's ignored. so Morrigan's arc gone, logain/alistar arc gone, Hawke story gone.
heck i'm even curious if the war between templar and magi is still lingering on...
cause 3 months ago i would assume this would be a mayor arc, the fact i'm doubting this says alot aswell.
and then i'm not even bashing the woke bs. this is on top of that to the core of the lore and universe. which is even more harmfull for the IP then a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ dwarf mage
From what I've seen on reviews thus far they do not invalidate player choices.
So unlikely for an appearance unless they handle it through Dialogue options (like they did in KOTOR2) For example you might have a "I heard the chargers were wiped out." conversation option when talking to Krem that explains his survival when the rest of the group died.
But 'no Krem' is much easier and the likely scenario.
I was wondering if dialogue options like that would be something we might see, where the default world state you choose at character creation is not the entirety of choices and you confirm them through in-game stuff.
But it's more likely that they won't be addressed at all unfortunately
although i don't like the woke ♥♥♥♥. it is actually really surprising he is not there.
heck there is an arguement there it would make more sense to be there then varric.
cause let's be honest without the inquisitor it really doesn't make that mutch sense that varric is there. cause Varric never really had that mutch beef with solas, yes he disagreed but hd no real beef
or wait for it....
bring back the keep, don't make it an online server thingy but just a loadout you could make offline aswell. you know the thing they did for DAI and worked really well and bioware was really praised for
